Since the Startup of Qatar Computing Research Institute with great aims, Lolwa believed that QCRI will have a great value to the community and to the whole world.

Research Focus at QCRI

Working in several computing positions in the government of Qatar, Lolwa thinks that cloud computing can save countries time and money in a more efficient way. A cloud for Qatar is not an option, it is a must have. From that point, Lolwa’s current research focus is on Cloud computing.

Previous Experience

Before QCRI, Lolwa worked for six years in software development at several government institutes. Lolwa Worked at Qatar University starting as a programmer then as a consultant from 2004 until 2008 when she started working as the Head of the IT unit at the National Human Rights Committee.
