Research Focus at QCRI

Rade Stanojevic has worked as a Senior Scientist in QCRI's Distributed Systems group since February 2016. His research focus is on network and data economics, resource allocation and data analytics.

Previous Experience

Before joining QCRI, Rade was a researcher in Telefonica Research where he worked on network economics, cellular networks and data mining for insurance.

- Research assistant/associate Hamilton Institute, National University of Ireland, Maynooth. May 2004 - March 2009.

- Researcher, Telefonica Research. April 2009 - September 2010, March 2012 - February 2016.

- Research Assistant Professor. IMDEA Networks October 2010 - March 2012.

Professional Associations and Awards

For joint work with his PhD advisor, Robert Shorten, he was awarded Best Paper award at IWQoS 2009 and Best Student Paper award at ACM SIGMETRICS 2008.

Education

Rade has a PhD from Hamilton Institute, National University of Ireland.
