Research Focus at QCRI
Meghna Singh works in the domain of health informatics with a goal of improving health and lives of people using multi-modal data from wearable sensors, social media, health records, etc. She is the lead engineer in building QCRI's Sleep Tools platform - an open source toolkit for the visualization and analysis of sleep and actigraphy data using machine learning.
Before joining QCRI, Meghna worked at IBM’s India Research Lab on their SpokenWeb project to build a voice-based parallel Internet using Java technologies and VoiceXML to increase accessibility of the Internet for the rural poor. She has also worked in the R&D department of Manhattan Associates in Atlanta and has a MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, USA.
