Why QCRI? A question I asked myself when first invited to visit. My career path has been one of trying out new things, taking a direction very different from the one before, experiencing the new – cultures, challenges, opportunities. I was looking for the ‘next big thing’ to try. Once I visited here, the question became ‘Why not QCRI?’ And, when I was offered the opportunity to head Social Computing, my reaction was ‘Wow, QCRI!’

Research Focus at QCRI

Jaideep Srivastava is the Research Director for the Social Computing group at QCRI.
